NCTImageStudio is the package of ActiveX DLL's, which is intended for work with image data.

NCTImageStudio includes the following ActiveX DLL's:

NCTImageAnimate which allow you to play animations based on the sequences of images within your forms;
NCTImageCompress which allow you to compress and decompress images in memory using video codecs installed in the system;
NCTImageCompare which allow you to compare two images using customizable comparison algorithm;
NCTImageCompose which allow you to compose two images with the same sizes using different transition effects;
NCTImageConvert which allow you to convert image files of different formats and apply some color adjustments;
NCTImageFile which allow you import and export images with various formats and get direct access to pixels of images;
NCTImageTransform which allows you to apply different photographic filters, effects, transformations;
NCTImageView which allow you to visualize your images;
NCTImagePaint which allow you to print images and paint different overlays within the image data;
NCTImageStream which allow you to create AVI video files and add custom frames to them;
NCTImageClipboard which allow you to manipulate with clipboard;
NCTImageCapture which allow you to capture images from any video source devices like webcams or tuners installed in the system;
NCTImageTwain which allow you to acquire images from any Twain devices like scanners or digital cameras installed in the system;
NCTImageUtility which allow you to manipulate with images: create new and duplicate images, get access to image pixels, compute different histograms, etc.;
With NCTImageStudio you can:

Create new empty images (see NCTImageUtility);
Duplicate existing images (see NCTImageUtility);
Acquire images from scanners or cameras (see NCTImageCompare);
Capture images from tuners or cameras (see NCTImageCompare);
Retrieve and set images to clipboard (see NCTImageClipboard);
Compute different histograms for existing images (see NCTImageUtility);
Compare image files selecting comparison method (see NCTImageCompare);
Convert image files applying several image effects (see NCTImageConvert);
Visualize imported images and masks (see NCTImageView);
Combine a pair of images with a number of transition methods (see NCTImageCompose);
Import images from files of almost all modern formats (see NCTImageFile);

The following image formats are supported for importing and exporting:

BMP (standard Windows Bitmap file format);
ICO (standard Windows Icon file format);
CUR (standard Windows Cursor file format);
ANI (standard Windows Animated cursor file format);
WMF (standard Windows Metafile format);
EMF (Enhanced Windows Metafile format);
JPEG (Joint Photographic Expert Group file format);
J2K (Jpeg 2000 File Format);
GIF (Graphics Interchange file Format);
PNG (Portable Network Graphics file format);
TIFF (Tagged-Image File Format);
PCX (ZSoft Paintbrush File Format);
TGA (Truevision Targa File Format);
RAS (Sun Raster Image File Format);
The following AVI video codecs are supported:

Cinepak;
Microsoft Video-1;
Microsoft Mpeg-4;
DivX;
Any other video codec can be selected manually from standard dialog;
You can insert ActiveX Controls from NCTImageStudio in your program, written on language, which supports ActiveX controls, such as VB, VB.NET, C#.NET, VC++, C++ Builder, Delphi and others.

The NCTImageStudio was tested with:

MS VB.NET;
MS C#.NET;
MS VB 6.0 (SP5);
MS VC++ 6.0 (SP5);
Borland C++ Builder 6.0;
Borland Delphi 6.0
MS Access (2000, XP);
MS Excel (2000, XP);
under Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/XP.

With NCTImageStudio you get lots of samples that demonstrate possibilities of controls, included in NCTImageStudio.
